TransPerfect, a leading provider of multilingual communication services worldwide, today announced that it is donating translation services to support the efforts of Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte.

Habitat for Humanity provides affordable housing for families all over the world. The organization has provided more than 1 million people in more than 3,000 communities with affordable homes. The organization has a presence in more than 90 countries, including all 50 states in the US, the District of Columbia, Guam, and Puerto Rico.

TransPerfect will provide Habitat for Humanity with translations of housing applications for applicants whose language preference is not English. All applicants to the Habitat for Humanity program must fill out this application, which requests employment and rental history, income information, and a list of family members, among other information.

According to TransPerfect Co-Founder Phil Shawe, “We applaud the efforts of Habitat for Humanity. It is an honor for us to play a small role in furthering their efforts to provide affordable housing to those in need.”
